Congratulations to current Year 11 Football Excellence student Jonti on not only being selected for the under 18 Junior Commonwealth Bank Matildas currently playing in the Asean Football Federation (AFF) U18 Women's Championships in Indonesia, but also last night scoring her first goal in a 8-0 win over Malaysia. A great achievement for Jonti at such a young age.
Congratulations also to Football Excellence Coach Chelsea Blissett who has recently come back from the Philippines representing the under 23 Matildas team in an AFF tournament. Chelsea is currently contracted for Melbourne City in the A League and on loan to Lions FC in the WNPL in Brisbane whilst on off-season. Fantastic achievements for both of these athletes in what we hope will be just the start of long and successful careers.
